We check all votes that are placed on videos to make sure that they comply with our rules. If there are excessive complaints about the legitimacy of votes being placed on channels / best videos then we will check to make sure that the channels posting the votes have not been created after the date of the official contest. Any votes that are found to be placed by fake channels will be disqualified. If we find any individual that is using other methods to obtain a vote other than any reasonable method deemed fair by all will be disqualified from any further votes and any unearned votes will not be counted towards our final deadline of the contest. Those who have votes in question will be marked (Votes being verified or investigated) While the votes are under investigation the vote counts will still be updated but if any votes are found to be false then they will not count and all false votes will be recorded and subtracted from the voting total. If more than 10 votes are found to be placed by unfair methods during the duration of the contest then the channel will be disqualified from the contest or they will forfeit all their votes. Any channel who has been proven to have acquired votes by unfair methods will receive a warning notification from us indicating the amount of votes that have been disqualified. There will be a 48 hour period to dispute the notification if there is any evidence that supports the voting as being fair and reasonable. If found to be fair and reasonable then the votes that have been disqualified will be reinstated. Remeber that there will be top 10 winners. All votes are not final until June 16th, 2009 Here are some tips to make sure you are receiving fair votes.
